## 2. Professional Qualifications and Scope of Practice

Dr. Jennifer Matteo-Holtz holds an earned Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree and is a certified hypnotherapist (C.Ht.) and metaphysical counselor.

Her academic doctorate and hypnotherapy certification do not constitute licensure as a medical physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, or clinical mental health counselor.

All services are provided within the practitioner's education, training, qualifications, and lawful scope of practice.

Services are intended for appropriate spiritual, holistic, educational, relaxation, and personal-development purposes.

We do not provide medical diagnoses, psychological diagnoses, psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, prescription services, or medical treatment.

We do not recommend discontinuing prescribed medications or professional healthcare.

We do not provide legal or regulated financial advice.

## 3. Client Screening and Professional Referrals

Individual hypnosis sessions, personalized hypnosis recordings, and certain other services may require an introductory consultation and client screening before acceptance.

Screening helps determine whether the requested service is appropriate and falls within our professional scope.

Depending on the client's circumstances, we may require an evaluation, referral, or written clearance from an appropriately licensed physician, psychologist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

A medical or psychological diagnosis does not automatically disqualify a client from all services. Suitability is evaluated individually.

Services may be postponed or declined when additional evaluation is necessary or when the requested service falls outside our qualifications.

Professional clearance does not authorize us to diagnose or treat conditions requiring professional licensure.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information during consultations and intake.

## 4. Appointment Booking, Electronic Consent, and Client Acknowledgment

By voluntarily scheduling an appointment and submitting the required booking information, clients acknowledge and agree to the business policies and service conditions actually presented to them during the booking process.

These may include appointment terms, cancellation conditions, professional scope disclosures, screening requirements, privacy notices, and applicable service limitations.

Electronic acknowledgments, checkboxes, and signatures may be used to document informed agreement when implemented in accordance with applicable law.

For services covered by Minnesota Statutes Chapter 146A, clients must receive the required written Complementary and Alternative Health Care Client Bill of Rights before services begin and sign an acknowledgment confirming receipt.

An electronic acknowledgment may be used where legally valid and where the booking process presents the complete required document and captures the client's affirmative acknowledgment.

Merely submitting an appointment request or entering contact information does not independently establish acknowledgment of a document that was not provided.

Clients may be required to complete additional intake, consent, or acknowledgment requirements before services are delivered.

## 5. Minnesota Complementary and Alternative Health Care Client Rights

For services subject to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 146A, clients are entitled to the applicable statutory Client Bill of Rights.

These rights include receiving information about the practitioner's qualifications, services, fees, approach, and expected duration; respectful treatment; confidentiality subject to law; access to records as provided by law; the ability to choose or change practitioners; appropriate coordination when transferring services; the right to refuse services except where otherwise provided by law; and the right to assert their rights without retaliation.

Clients also have the right to file complaints with the appropriate regulatory authority.

The complete written Client Bill of Rights, including all required statutory disclosures and regulatory contact information, will be provided separately when Chapter 146A applies.

Clients receiving covered services must sign an acknowledgment of receipt before those services begin.

## 6. Professional Boundaries and Right to Refuse Service

Enlightened Hypnotherapy & Guidance LLC reserves the right, consistent with applicable law, to decline, postpone, suspend, or discontinue services for legitimate professional, ethical, safety, operational, or conduct-related reasons.

Such reasons may include:

- Requests outside the practitioner's lawful professional scope.

- Client suitability or safety concerns.

- Failure to complete required screening or obtain necessary clearance.

- Harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive conduct.

- Fraud, unauthorized recording, or misuse of proprietary materials.

- Repeated violations of professional boundaries or appointment policies.

- Conduct that materially interferes with the safe and appropriate delivery of services.

Future appointments or communications may be restricted when legally appropriate.

All decisions remain subject to applicable nondiscrimination requirements, contractual obligations, consumer protections, and professional duties.

Purchasing a product or scheduling an appointment does not establish an entitlement to unlimited communications, unrestricted access, or services beyond the agreed appointment.

## 7. Spiritual, Metaphysical, and Hypnosis Disclaimers

Metaphysical counseling, intuitive guidance, Oracle readings, Meta-Mediumship, and spiritual exploration involve subjective interpretation and personal experience.

No particular prediction, spiritual communication, relationship result, emotional change, financial outcome, or personal-development result is guaranteed.

Individual responses to hypnosis and guided recordings vary.

Hypnosis recordings must not be used while driving, operating machinery, or performing activities requiring full attention.

Our services are not emergency medical or mental health crisis services.

## 8. Products, Payments, Refunds, and Shipping

Physical merchandise, including Enlightened Spirit Oracle decks, is final sale for change-of-mind purposes.

Digital hypnosis recordings, personalized audio files, and custom videos are final sale once delivered or made accessible, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Appointment cancellations, missed sessions, and rescheduling are governed by the terms disclosed during booking.

Shipping methods, charges, applicable taxes, and delivery estimates are provided through checkout or relevant product listings.

Damaged, defective, incorrect, lost, or undelivered merchandise will be addressed according to our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.

Nothing in this notice removes mandatory consumer rights or legally required remedies.

All original Enlightened Spirit Oracle content, guidebooks, artwork, hypnosis scripts, audio recordings, videos, educational resources, written materials, and branding remain the intellectual property of Enlightened Hypnotherapy & Guidance LLC or their respective rights holders.

Purchasing a product or service does not transfer copyrights, reproduction rights, or commercial licensing rights.

Unauthorized copying, recording, redistribution, publication, or commercial resale of protected materials is prohibited without written authorization.

## 10. Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information is handled in accordance with our published Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Clients should not submit sensitive medical or psychological information through general retail chat systems.

When confidential intake or professional clearance information is required, an appropriate submission process will be identified.

Client records and communications are handled confidentially, subject to applicable legal requirements and authorized disclosures.

AI-assisted customer support may be used for general retail and administrative inquiries but does not provide personalized professional counseling, medical assessment, or hypnosis.

## 11. Website Accuracy and Third-Party Services

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate product descriptions, prices, availability, scheduling information, and service details.

Material errors may be corrected in accordance with applicable law and existing customer rights.

Our business may use Shopify, Acuity Scheduling, payment processors, video conferencing services, and digital delivery providers.

These providers may maintain separate terms and privacy policies.
